1. Purpose and Scope
Sleepwa Parte CC supplies original parts and aftermarket replacement parts for trailers and related applications.
This policy explains the differences between original and aftermarket parts, product substitutions, compatibility and variations in product appearance.

2. Original Parts
Where a product is specifically advertised, quoted or sold as an original parts or original manufacturer part, Sleepwa Parte CC will supply the specified product unless an alternative has been disclosed to and agreed upon by the customer.
This includes original axles, couplers and other components identified as original manufacturer products.
Original parts status does not necessarily mean that a product is manufactured by the trailer manufacturer itself. Where applicable, the actual component manufacturer will be identified.

3. Aftermarket Replacement Parts
Sleepwa Parte CC supplies a range of aftermarket replacement components, including:
Brake shoes and braking components
Grease caps and bearings
Shock absorbers
Brake cables
Hubs and drums
Other trailer replacement parts and accessories
Aftermarket products may be manufactured by independent suppliers and may differ from the original manufacturer’s brand.
Sleepwa Parte CC aims to supply products of appropriate quality and compatibility for their intended applications.

4. Product and Brand Substitutions
Where a specific brand, model or part number has been ordered, Sleepwa Parte CC will not knowingly substitute it with a materially different product without first informing the customer and obtaining their agreement.

Where an alternative product is proposed, Sleepwa Parte CC will endeavour to ensure that it meets the relevant specifications, quality requirements and intended application.
Any difference in price or material product specifications will be disclosed before the substitution is accepted.
Customers may decline a proposed substitution and request the originally ordered product, subject to availability, or exercise any applicable cancellation or refund rights.

5. Product Images and Descriptions
Sleepwa Parte CC makes reasonable efforts to ensure that product photographs, descriptions and specifications displayed on its website are accurate and up to date.
Actual products may occasionally differ slightly in colour, packaging, finish or other non-essential visual characteristics due to manufacturing changes or supplier updates.
Such variations will not be used to justify supplying goods that materially differ from the agreed product description, specifications or intended purpose.
Where a material difference is identified before dispatch, the customer will be informed and given an opportunity to accept or decline the proposed alternative.

6. Product Compatibility and Fitment
Customers are encouraged to verify relevant dimensions, specifications, load ratings, part numbers and application requirements before purchasing replacement components.
Where customers request assistance with selecting a part, Sleepwa Parte CC will make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product information based on the details supplied.
Where a customer communicates a particular intended purpose and relies on Sleepwa Parte CC’s advice, any applicable statutory rights relating to suitability and fitness for purpose remain unaffected.
Safety-critical components, including axles, couplers, bearings and braking components, must be selected and installed in accordance with applicable technical requirements and manufacturer specifications.

7. Product Quality and Statutory Warranties
Products supplied by Sleepwa Parte CC are subject to applicable provisions of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
Where applicable, consumers are entitled to the statutory implied warranty of quality and remedies provided under sections 55 and 56 of the Act.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or limits any statutory warranty or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Incorrect or Defective Products
Customers who receive an incorrect, defective or materially different product should contact Sleepwa Parte CC as soon as reasonably possible.
Sleepwa Parte CC will assess the matter and provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable South African consumer legislation.
Any request for photographs, product details or proof of purchase is intended to assist with identifying and resolving the issue and does not automatically limit statutory consumer rights.

9. Policy Interpretation
This policy must be read together with Sleepwa Parte CC’s applicable Terms and Conditions, Delivery & Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy.
Where any provision conflicts with mandatory South African consumer legislation, the applicable legislation will prevail.
