RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES POLICY
SLEEPWA PARTE CC
- General Returns Policy
Sleepwa Parte CC generally accepts product returns only where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise qualify for return under applicable South African law.
Other return requests may be considered at the discretion of Sleepwa Parte CC, provided that the customer contacts our office and obtains approval before returning the products.
For discretionary returns, customers must submit their requests within 3 calendar days of delivery or collection.
Such returns may be approved subject to the following conditions:
- The products must be unused, uninstalled and in a resaleable condition.
- The products must be complete, including all components and accessories originally supplied.
- Original packaging should be retained where reasonably possible.
- Valid proof of purchase must be provided.
- The return must be approved by Sleepwa Parte CC before the products are dispatched back to us.
- The customer will generally be responsible for the applicable return transport costs. Sleepwa Parte CC reserves the right to decline discretionary return requests that do not meet these conditions.
Important: The 3-calendar-day period applies only to discretionary returns and does not limit statutory rights relating to defective, unsafe, damaged or incorrectly supplied products, or applicable online cancellation rights.
- Statutory Online Cancellation Rights
Where section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 applies, eligible online transactions may be cancelled without reason within 7 calendar days after the consumer receives the goods.
The consumer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. Refunds and statutory exclusions will be handled in accordance with ECTA. These rights apply independently of Sleepwa Parte CC’s discretionary 3-day returns policy.
- Faulty or Damaged Products Sleepwa Parte CC accepts returns of faulty or damaged products in accordance with applicable
South African consumer legislation.
Where sections 55 and 56 of the Consumer Protection Act apply, qualifying defective products may be returned within six months after delivery, and the consumer may elect a repair, replacement or refund as provided by law.
Customers are encouraged to contact our office promptly after discovering a fault or damage and to provide the invoice number, product details and photographs where available.
Sleepwa Parte CC may reasonably inspect the product to establish the nature and cause of the reported problem.
The company will arrange the appropriate statutory remedy where the claim qualifies.
- Incorrect Products Ordered by Customers
Customers are responsible for checking product dimensions, part numbers, specifications and compatibility before placing an order, subject to applicable consumer rights.
Where Sleepwa Parte CC correctly supplies the product ordered, an exchange or return will not automatically be accepted.
Customers may contact our office within 3 calendar days after delivery or collection to request consideration of a discretionary return or exchange.
Approval will depend on the product’s condition, resaleability, circumstances and any applicable statutory rights.
- Installed, Used or Modified Components Sleepwa Parte CC may decline discretionary returns of products that have been installed, used,
modified or damaged after delivery.
This restriction does not remove any statutory rights relating to defective, unsafe or unsuitable goods.
- Products Excluded from Discretionary Returns Subject to applicable legislation, Sleepwa Parte CC may decline discretionary returns involving:
- Custom-manufactured or personalised products.
- Specially modified components.
- Installed or used products.
- Incomplete products.
- Products damaged after delivery through improper handling.
- Products that are no longer suitable for resale.
These exclusions do not override statutory consumer rights.
- Refunds and Payment Methods
Refunds for faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products will be processed in accordance with applicable South African legislation.
Where a discretionary return has been approved, Sleepwa Parte CC will communicate the applicable refund or exchange arrangements to the customer.
Refunds will be processed through the original payment method where reasonably possible, including EFT, PayFast or Payflex, subject to the payment provider’s procedures.
No fee or deduction will be imposed where prohibited by law.
- Exchanges
Exchanges are generally considered where products are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, or where required by law.
Other exchanges may be considered only after communication with and approval by Sleepwa Parte CC.
For discretionary exchanges, customers must submit their requests within 3 calendar days after delivery or collection.
Any price differences or additional transport charges will be communicated before an approved discretionary exchange is processed.
Nothing in this section limits statutory rights to replacement or other remedies.
